Happy Republic Day

Dedicated to the people of and the land of Vedas, Geeta, Yoga Sutras and many more phenomenal scriptures that guide us till date!!!

“All differences in this world are of degree and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.”- beautifully quoted by Swami Vivekananda.

Have you ever thought about this oneness? Seen it? Or ever felt it in your heart?

Yes, the feelings or emotions and thoughts that today the man is struggling with can also be the part of same oneness. And a graceful way of feeling that oneness is the path of Yoga.

There are multiple definitions of Yoga, but for me there is no Yoga without Bhakti. There is no Yoga without the wetness of emotions for the Almighty. There is no Yoga till you have love and regard for your fellow beings. There is no Yoga till your mighty mind obeys your loving and faithful heart. And there is no Yoga till you have Guru’s grace!

Asana and pranayama are but two limbs of Ashtanga Yoga. But how can the Yoga even start without self-surrender. If you practice Yoga without Ishvar Pranidhan, you might get success but the mighty ego grows and grows till it swallows the entire sadhana performed. But continual surrender of the self directly gets you the “Aviplava Viveka Khyati”, Muni Patanjali says about.

We might not be able to stay without Chitta Vruttis, but yes, we can stay blissful if we direct our Chitta Vurttis towards serving Lord and His creations! Let us serve, respect and love!

As Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa rightly said, Ahankar nasha is the real sadhana. “All troubles come to an end when the ego dies.”

Today, we are at the threshold of a new beginning. The entire humanity is struggling with either life or death. Let us open our hearts to the universal love and brotherhood. Let His grace shine upon! Let us learn to surrender our motives, desires, actions and our entire existence! Small surrender and selflessness can lead to magnificent strength. Let us all together bow to that Supreme power!

On this 73rd Republic day, let us all pledge to be a stronger race of humanity and feel the strength of a true Republic!

Happy Republic Day !!!
